Aucklander Amanda Easterbrook isn't ashamed to admit that she has "always had a penchant for exquisite, unusual things... and as I grew up and matured into a woman I discovered handbags!" Working as a brand specialist by day, she spends her free time "endlessly pawing the pages of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar - pretty much any fashion magazine I can lay my hands on - coveting the latest, most exciting, most desirable bags." Over the years she quietly developed a small but highly prized collection of uniquely beautiful handbags, and become somewhat renowned amongst friends as the go-to girl for that special accessory for the races or a night out.

She also found herself receiving compliments from strangers on her collection along the lines of "that is a beautiful handbag, I wish I had one!" and it was from this experience that the concept of LoanMe or OwnMe was born. "I thought that if my friends borrowed my handbags and so many other women admired them, that maybe if there was some way a handbag could be 'loaned'," she says. "Potentially, I could share my indulgent passion as well as make it into a fantastic business!"

Born and raised in New York, LoanMe or OwnMe shopper at large Annamae Kelleher has been a handbag aficionado and collector for many years. Living and working in the fast paced, ever changing New York fashion environment provided the opportunity for both embracing established designer bags and discovering cutting edge, up and coming designer trends. Through the years, she has established an extensive collection showcasing the best of both of these worlds. "I like to think of my collection as being in a constant state of evolution. Although I have a healthy respect for the role of the "bag du jour" in fashion, I love to pair an outfit with an edgy, off the chart style bag as well."

Based in southern California, Annamae utilizes her contacts in the handbag industry and her eye for style in her role as personal shopper. "The iconic designers will always be a strong influence on me. I'm constantly on the lookout for bags that appeal to me on a variety of levels." Working with LoanMe or OwnMe allows Annamae to contribute her considerable expertise to bringing exquisite bags to the women of New Zealand. "Whether you're more comfortable in jeans or a dress, nothing makes an outfit like a fabulous handbag."
